About this care
Welcome to Kiddoozz childcare at Lavasweg 21 in Hoogvliet Rotterdam. Our small-scale daycare center provides care for up to 37 children aged 0 to 4 years. We have 1 baby group 0-2 years, 1 toddler group 2-4 years and 1 vertical group 0-4 years. This setup allows us to optimally guide each child's development, tailored to their age and needs.
Our location is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 539938634 and offers preschool education (VE) through the recognized VVE program Uk & Puk. This program supports language and cognitive development of young children in a playful way. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained to work within this program and ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
We believe it's important that children feel at home with us. Therefore, we work in small groups with familiar faces. Our spaces are bright and homely furnished, making children feel comfortable quickly. We have our own outdoor playground where children can play and explore daily. For the youngest ones, we have separate sleeping areas where they can rest when needed.

Summary
Kindercentrum Kiddoozz - Lavasweg in Hoogvliet Rotterdam was inspected by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) on 30 June 2026. The annual inspection shows that the location now meets all assessed quality requirements. At the previous inspection on 28 July 2025, there were violations regarding early childhood education, for which the municipality issued a warning. These shortcomings have now been resolved. The pedagogical practice is positive: staff demonstrate sensitive and responsive behaviour, children are greeted individually and reassured, and development is stimulated through play. Early childhood education is provided according to the Uk & Puk method on two groups, with recognisable play corners and theme corners. The basic conditions are now in order, including correct deployment of qualified staff. There is no parent committee, but this is not mandatory for a maximum of 50 placement agreements; parents are consulted in other ways.
