Subsidy & costs
KiddoStaff is a recognised childcare organisation that meets all government requirements, which means parents can make use of childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). This benefit is administered by the Tax and Customs Administration and offers financial relief by covering part of the costs for childcare. Because KiddoStaff is registered in the National Childcare Register, the costs for care through our childminders qualify for this benefit. We support parents in understanding and applying for this benefit, so they can continue to grow in their careers with confidence while their children receive high-quality care and education.

Trust & screening
KiddoStaff applies an extensive screening procedure for all childminders. Every candidate must have: a relevant diploma at least at MBO 2 level (Helping Care and Welfare/SPW2), a valid first aid certificate for children, a recent Certificate of Conduct (VOG), and a valid proof of identity. In addition, KiddoStaff follows an extensive recruitment and selection procedure in which childminders are introduced personally and often do a half-day trial in the family. All childminders must be registered in the National Childcare Register before they can be placed.
KiddoStaff is a recognised childcare organisation that is registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK), which means parents can make use of childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). All childminders are thoroughly screened with a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and must hold a valid first aid certificate for children. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) carries out inspections at the childcare locations to meet the quality requirements for childcare benefit. KiddoStaff meets all requirements set by the government and organises annual first aid refresher courses for the entire team.

Pedagogical vision
KiddoStaff works with the GROEI-OP tracking system, a development-oriented tool with which childminders (leidsters), together with parents, map out children's development. The system provides structure for conversations and evaluations, with attention for individual developmental areas and age-specific skills. Childminders carefully evaluate developmental domains, identify areas of attention, and tailor activities and support to the child's needs. The goal is constructive cooperation with parents, whereby childminders offer development-oriented activities that stimulate children's growth in their own familiar environment.

The annual inspection by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Rotterdam-Rijnmond on 9 June 2026 of childminder agency (gastouderbureau) Kiddo Staff in Brielle shows predominantly positive results. The agency mediates for 30 childminders (gastouders) with 50 registered provisions, mainly in the Rotterdam and Den Haag region. Care always takes place at the requesting parent's home. Most quality requirements are in order: pedagogical policy, personnel matters, safety and health, and quality criteria. There was one violation: the 2025 annual overviews did not contain citizen service numbers (burgerservicenummers) of requesting parents, which is legally required. The holder made use of the recovery offer (herstelaanbod) and submitted corrected annual overviews. An earlier violation from 2025 (incorrect registration numbers for replacements) has also since been resolved. The GGD advises the municipality not to enforce.
