About this care
Welcome to Kibeo Hertenburg Barendrecht, located within primary school De Vrijenburg in the heart of Barendrecht. We provide a warm and trusted environment where babies, toddlers and preschoolers can develop. Our location is specially designed for children aged 0 to 4 years and works closely with the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to primary education.
At Kibeo Hertenburg Barendrecht we believe children learn and discover through play. We have a quiet, separate baby group where the youngest children have space to sleep, play and grow in a safe environment. For toddlers we organize fun activities such as arts and crafts, which is not only great fun but also beneficial for fine motor skills. Children can also enjoy outdoor play in our garden, where they can romp around with friends and discover nature.
Our pedagogical staff are specialized in child development and provide each child with the attention and care they need. We work with horizontal groups, where children play and learn with peers. This not only stimulates social development but also creates a safe and familiar environment for your child.
Kibeo Hertenburg Barendrecht is a popular location, so we recommend registering early. We are happy to work with you to find the best solution for your childcare needs.Read more

Summary
Kibeo Hertenburg Barendrecht provides daycare for 60 children aged 0-4 years and early childhood education according to the Uk & Puk method. The pedagogical climate is generally good: the policy is clear, the practice provides emotional safety and developmental stimulation, and parents are actively involved. Staff meet qualification and Certificate of Conduct (VOG) requirements, and the staff-child ratio is in order. One violation was identified: on an early childhood education group, a staff member without the required certificate was deployed alone, whereas this is only permitted when a certified colleague is present. The location acknowledges the violation and commits to adjusting staff deployment. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to enforce.
