- The holder/professional staff member does not hold a valid infant care certification certificate, as legally required for working with children aged 0 (Article 1.50(1) and (2) and 1.60c(2) of the Childcare Act).
- The holder has not complied with the recovery agreement to submit the certificate no later than 31 August 2026.
Summary
On 1 September 2026, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced follow-up investigation at daycare center/after-school care (kinderdagverblijf/KDV/BSO) Bengeltjeshoeve in Linde. The location provides daycare and after-school care (buitenschoolse opvang/BSO) for up to 15 children aged 0 to 13 years in a detached farmhouse. The investigation focused on compliance with staff training requirements. The holder, who is deployed as professional staff in the group themself, does not hold the mandatory infant care certification for working with children aged 0. This violation had already been identified during the annual investigation of 17 February 2026 and the follow-up investigation of 4 June 2026. The holder was given until 31 August 2026 to submit the certificate but failed to do so. The violation has therefore not been remedied. The GGD advises the municipality of De Wolden to proceed with enforcement.
