About this care
Welcome to Kinderdagopvang Zuidwolde, located at Van Berumstraat 2 in the heart of Zuidwolde. As part of Stichting Goud, we provide a warm and safe environment for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is specially designed for the youngest children, featuring a quiet baby corner and a cozy baby house where the little ones can sleep peacefully.
Our pedagogical staff are professionally trained in the care and guidance of children from birth. They are ready to care for your child with love and expertise. We understand that every stage of life is unique and fully tailor our care accordingly.
The daycare is open Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 18:00, offering parents flexibility in their work and private life. We believe in a continuous line of care and development, where your child is given the space to grow at his or her own pace.

- Pedagogical policy: the location guide described working methods and group composition not in accordance with actual practice (resolved following recovery offer)
- Staff and groups: on Wednesday 13 May between 8:00-8:15 a.m., 18 children were present in the core group, while a maximum of 16 is permitted
- Staff and groups: insufficient qualified staff deployed for the number of children present (2 instead of 3 staff members for 18 children)
Summary
The annual inspection by GGD Groningen of kindercentrum Zuidwolde in Zuidwolde presents a mixed picture. The location meets most quality requirements, but two serious shortcomings were identified in the area of staffing and groups. On Wednesday 13 May, between 8:00 and 8:15 a.m., 18 children were present, while a core group may contain a maximum of 16 children. Furthermore, insufficient qualified staff were deployed for this number of children. The pedagogical policy was initially incorrect, as the practice of combination groups did not match the description in the location guide. Following a recovery offer, this latter point has been resolved. The holder acknowledges the error in staff scheduling and promises improvement.
