About this care
Daycare centre Woelwaters is located at Kindcentrum De Rietzanger, Borchsingel 39 in Eelderwolde. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in two clearly defined age groups: one group for children from 0 to 2 years and one group for children from 2 to 4 years. This way every child receives the space and attention that suits his or her stage of development.
Our daycare is open 52 weeks a year, Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The children are guided by a permanent team of pedagogical staff who give them a familiar and safe feeling. We believe it is important that children can develop in a calm, homely environment with room for play, discovery and relaxation.
Because Woelwaters is part of Kindcentrum De Rietzanger, our children benefit from the extensive facilities and pleasant atmosphere that the entire centre offers. GGD Drenthe conducted an unannounced annual inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Woelwaters in Eelderwolde on 19 August 2025. The location accommodates a maximum of 30 children aged 0-4 years in two core groups. All examined areas – pedagogical climate (policy and practice) and staff/groups (Certificate of Good Conduct, qualifications, deployment of pedagogical policy staff, stability) – fully comply with legal requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The pedagogical practice is positive: children experience emotional safety, receive developmental stimulation, are guided in social interaction, and learn rules and norms. Staff members are qualified, hold current Certificates of Good Conduct, and receive structural coaching. The municipality was advised not to take enforcement steps.
