About this care
KDV Wilhelminaoord is a daycare centre operated by Kinderopvang KaKa, located in the community centre ‘Ons Dorpshuis’ at Linthorst Homanstraat 14 in Wilhelminaoord. We provide care for up to 30 children aged 0 to 4 years. The facility is only 100 metres from OBS de Kievitshoek primary school and shares an outdoor play area with the after-school care (BSO).

Summary
KDV Wilhelminaoord is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in the village community center of Wilhelminaoord with one full-day care group (max 14 children aged 0–4) and one toddler group (max 16 children aged 2–4, 5 mornings per week). The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 11 September 2025. All assessed areas — pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, parental rights — meet statutory requirements. The pedagogical policy is up-to-date, staff are familiar with it and work according to it. Pre-school education is organized according to the Piramide programme, offers at least 960 hours over 1.5 years to target-group toddlers, has sufficient qualified practitioners (1:8 ratio), and a pedagogical policy staff member. Safety and health policy, domestic violence reporting code, Certificate of Conduct (VOG) registration, and complaints procedure are in order; no complaints have been received. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
