Welcome to KDV Villa Vrolijk, located at De Dintel 8 in Veghel. Our daycare is part of Humankind and has been providing professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 since 2005. With a maximum capacity of 40 places, we work in horizontal age groups to meet the specific needs of babies and toddlers.
We focus on creating a safe, warm environment where children can develop freely. We offer a wide range of activities: from singing and reading to arts and crafts and outdoor play. Our spacious garden with play equipment invites exploration and movement. We serve fresh, healthy meals and accommodate food allergies or special dietary needs.
Our team of qualified pedagogical staff provides personal attention and professional care every day. We value close communication with parents: we talk extensively at drop-off and pick-up times and regularly share photos and reports. We also offer early childhood education (VVE), helping children develop language, social skills and self-confidence through play.

The annual inspection of daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Villa Vrolijk in Veghel, part of Stichting Humankind, took place on 8 June 2026. The pedagogical climate was identified as a particular strength, with involved staff who provide children with emotional security and encourage their independence. One violation was identified in the area of staff and groups: not all structurally present individuals on the shared outdoor play area had been timely registered in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang). This concerned five employees of childcare organization Verdi and two teachers from the school. Following a recovery offer, all registrations have since been completed and structural agreements have been made regarding data exchange. The location manager will from now on verify in advance whether registrations are complete. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
