Welcome to Teddy Kids RB3 KDV, our warm daycare located at Rijnsburgerweg 3 in Leiden. As part of Teddy Kids International Daycare, we have been providing high-quality, multicultural childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years since 2004. We take pride in our unique bilingual environment where each group has both a Dutch-speaking and an English-speaking childcare professional, giving your child a head start towards becoming a global citizen.
Our location accommodates up to 16 children and has been officially registered since August 26, 2022 under LRK number 427624885. We are known for our unmatched flexibility: you can reuse missed days and change days with just 1 day's notice. Additionally, we work without any cancellation period - sometimes your job changes or you're relocating: 1 day's notice is enough.
At Teddy Kids, we believe every child should feel welcome regardless of background. We can accommodate any diet, follow a specific schedule, and answer all your questions. Summary
Teddy Kids RB3 KDV in Leiden provides daycare for a maximum of 16 children aged 2–4 years. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 7 July 2025 concludes that the location meets all assessed quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and parental rights. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The pedagogical staff work according to the pedagogical policy, provide emotional security, stimulate development through activities such as bilingual education (Dutch/English), and maintain a fixed core group with a mentor per child. All staff hold the required Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), qualifications, and language proficiency levels; the staff-to-child ratio is in order. Parents are well informed through the website and parent committee. The municipal executive board is advised not to take enforcement measures.
