About this care
Tante El is our daycare location at Laan van Kortrijk 2 in Almelo. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in two horizontal groups, with each group accommodating a maximum of 16 children. The location is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 149525138.
Our pedagogical staff create a safe and familiar environment where the youngest children have space to grow and develop. We work with fixed daily routines that meet the needs of babies and toddlers, including rest periods and care moments according to demand-oriented principles.
The location features its own outdoor playground specially designed for the very youngest, with safe play equipment and natural elements. We believe it's important that children come into contact with the outside world from an early age, where we playfully stimulate the senses and encourage motor development.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Tante El in Almelo, part of Muissie B.V., was inspected by GGD Twente on 4 March 2026. The location provides care for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4 years in three core groups, including early childhood education (VVE) for toddlers with a VVE indication. The general conclusion is that the license holder meets all assessed requirements. The pedagogical climate is positive: there is a relaxed atmosphere, staff communicate sensitively with children, and there is a recognisable daily structure. The early childhood education using the 'Piramide Digitaal' programme is well organised. However, one incidental finding was noted: the CO₂ level in the sleeping room of core group Nijntje temporarily exceeded 1300 ppm, which is above the RIVM guideline of 1200 ppm. Staff had not noticed this immediately. The level dropped quickly after ventilation. The license holder has taken note of this area for attention and is working on technical adjustments to the monitoring system and cleaning of the ventilation system. No violations were identified during this inspection. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
