About this care
Peuteropvang Ukkie Pukkie is a cozy, small-scale childcare facility located in the rural area of Ermelo. We provide care for up to 16 toddlers each morning, Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. Our facility is situated within the "De Goede Herderschool" primary school at Zeeweg 98, which creates a smooth transition for many children who later attend this school. Children moving on to other primary schools are of course also very welcome.
As a Christian organization, we use God's word as our guiding principle in our interactions with both children and each other. In addition to regular toddler and preschool songs, we also sing Christian verses and begin our circle time with a short prayer that we often complete together with the children. We work with a consistent group of children and caregivers, creating an atmosphere of peace and trust.
For communication with parents, we use the Jaamo app. Through this app, parents can access the latest news, photos, and information about their child. This follow-up inspection of 22 January 2026 at toddler daycare Ukkie Pukkie in Ermelo follows violations identified during the annual inspection of 17 November 2025. The location, housed in primary school 'De Goede Herderschool' with 16 places, was issued a formal notice by the municipality at that time for shortcomings in the area of staff and groups (no valid Certificate of Good Conduct for the board member) and parental rights (missing parent committee and incomplete complaints procedure). The provider has remedied all violations: the board member now holds the correct Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG) and is properly registered, a call for a parent committee has been issued with information about alternative parent consultation, and the complaints procedure has been fully adapted to meet legal requirements. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement action.
