About this care
KDV De Bakermat is a small-scale, homely daycare in the Malburgen-Oost district of Arnhem, near Parcivalschool Zuid primary school. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe environment that feels like a family. Security, warmth and love are central to our approach.
Our vertical group - where babies, toddlers and preschoolers grow up together - has a warm living room where children can play freely with natural materials such as wood, wool, cotton and silk. The play materials are sustainably made and invite imaginative play. The interior reflects the rhythm of the seasons: on the seasonal table, children find new symbols from nature that match the time of year.
Outside there is plenty of space to move, discover and play. In our garden, children go on little discovery trips, encounter insects, butterflies or flowers, play in the sandbox or ride around on a bicycle. This way children experience both calm and adventure every day, within clear boundaries and with loving guidance.
