Welcome to Partou Kleine Beer! Our daycare centre is located in a quiet, pleasant spot at Johan Wagenaarlaan 14 in Leiden, in the Boshuizen neighbourhood. In this safe and familiar environment, up to 37 children aged 0 to 4 are given every opportunity to play, discover and grow. Being outdoors is central to our approach. We have a large garden with a rich vegetable garden where no fewer than 16 types of fruit and vegetables grow. Children learn in a playful way where food comes from and literally get green fingers. In addition, we offer toddler dance and music lessons every day, provided by our qualified music teacher. These activities not only stimulate motor development, but also language skills and a sense of rhythm. Our pedagogical climate is based on the six building blocks of Partou Pedagogy. We work with themes from the VVE programme (Pre- and Early School Education), through which we prepare children for primary school in a playful way. Think of putting on your coat independently, waiting your turn and working together with friends. As a parent, you can follow every milestone and every laugh via our own app. For the very youngest, we have separate baby and toddler groups, so that each child receives the attention they need. We ensure sufficient rest periods and a familiar environment in which children feel safe and seen. We serve fresh and healthy meals and snacks daily, tailored to your child's age and needs.
