Kdv Marriekolf is a brand-new daycare centre run by Stichting Kinderopvang Huizen, opened in April 2022. We are located at Holleblok 12, right in the heart of Huizen, making us easy to reach for parents. The centre has room for 30 children aged 0 to 4 years and features a fresh, modern interior. Our spacious outdoor garden is specially designed for the youngest children, allowing them to play and explore safely. At Marriekolf, rest, safety and development are our priorities. Our regular, professional staff give every baby and toddler the individual attention they need. Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Marriekolf in Huizen was inspected on 8 June 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Gooi & Vechtstreek. The location provides care for 30 children divided across two core groups: babies and toddlers (0–2.5 years) and children aged 2 to 4 years. The annual inspection shows predominantly positive results. Pedagogical climate, staff and groups, accommodation, and parental rights all meet the requirements. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: children feel emotionally safe and staff members are attentive and supportive. One violation was identified in the area of safety and health: insufficient staff knowledge regarding the duty to consult and report suspected sexual abuse or abuse by the holder. The GGD issued a recovery offer. Following reinspection on 2 July 2026, it was determined that the violation had been resolved through additional instruction and the provision of a step-by-step plan via an app and on paper. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
