In IKC Het Meesterwerk in the Het Franse Gat neighbourhood of Veenendaal you will find our newest location. LeV offers day care for children aged 0-4, toddler care and after-school care. The daycare has two cosy living-room style groups: the Butterflies and the Birds, each with a maximum of 12 children in a vertical group setting. Each living room is spacious, light and furnished with themed corners such as a home corner, construction corner, reading corner and car corner. The living rooms have their own sanitary facilities and two sleeping rooms with fixed beds. Peuterwijs for 2-4 year olds has its own group room. Outdoors there is a beautiful play area with slide, sandbox, outdoor kitchen and traffic garden. All LeV rooms are on the ground floor and connected by a spacious play hall.Read more

The location accommodates up to 56 children in 4 groups for children aged 0 to 4 years, including early education (voorschoolse educatie/VE) using the Uk en Puk method. The inspection revealed a mixed picture: the pedagogical climate and pedagogical practice are satisfactory, with respectful interactions and adequate mentorship. However, serious shortcomings were identified in the area of staff qualifications. One staff member did not hold the required diploma according to the Childcare Collective Labour Agreement, resulting in the staff-child ratio in the VE group not being met. This employee has since been brought into compliance through supplementary e-learning. In the domains of safety and health and parental rights, recovery offers were made and successfully completed: staff are now better informed about reporting obligations and the inspection report is visible on the website. The absence of a parent committee (despite more than 50 children) leads to an enforcement recommendation, although mitigating circumstances are recognised through alternative participation via an overarching parent committee.
