About this care
At Happy Panda Kinderopvang, we create a warm, homey and welcoming environment for children. We comply with the regulations of the Childcare Act (Wet Kinderopvang) and maintain high standards in the areas of pedagogy, safety and hygiene.
Our childcare is aimed at children from 0 to 12 years old, and we work with vertical groups. This means that children of different ages play and learn together, which promotes social interaction. We offer both daycare for the very youngest and after-school care (BSO) for older children. Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 18:00, so parents can easily drop off and pick up their children.
Nutrition is an important aspect of our childcare. We offer healthy meals prepared with natural ingredients and little salt. This not only helps with the development of healthy eating habits, but also has a positive influence on children's behaviour. We encourage children to discover new flavours and make mealtimes a fun experience by involving them in setting the table and singing together before meals.
At Happy Panda, personal attention is central. We have small groups, so that every child receives the attention they need. Our staff are carefully selected and have a passion for working with children. We believe that a safe and supportive environment is essential for the development of every child. Summary
This Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report concerns a follow-up inspection on 12 May 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Happy Panda Parkwijk in Almere. This inspection followed an annual inspection on 8 July 2025 during which violations were identified in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. The location was given a recovery period until 12 May 2026. During the unannounced follow-up inspection, it was established that all violations have been sufficiently remedied. The pedagogical practice meets the requirements, staff hold the correct qualifications and the staff-child ratio is in order, although there were initially inaccuracies in staff rosters and attendance records. The safety and health policy has also been improved and is being followed. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
