Summary
Kindcentrum het Kompas in Assen, a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for 24 toddlers (ages 2–4) operated by CKC Drenthe, underwent an unannounced annual inspection by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Drenthe on 18 May 2026. The location provides early childhood education and is registered as an early childhood education facility. Overall, the childcare center meets the statutory quality requirements well. The pedagogical climate, staffing, group stability, and accommodation were found to be in order. One violation was identified: a primary school director was not linked in the childcare personnel register in a timely manner prior to commencing work. The holder received a recovery offer for this and successfully completed it by linking the person and drawing up a policy document for VOG accountability. Following recovery, the location meets all assessed requirements.
