About this care
KDV Zilverlinde Elisadonk is located on the grounds of Basisschool Zilverlinde in Roosendaal. We provide anthroposophy-inspired childcare for up to 7 children aged 2 to 4. Our aim is to let children become who they truly are. The recurring rhythm of the day, the seasons and the yearly festivals give the child recognition and trust. Throughout the day there is a fixed rhythm of singing, playing, eating and resting. We cooperate with the primary school and align with their free-school vision. Care is available from 08:00 to 13:00; extended day care until 14:45 or 18:00 is possible. There is always time for a snack with fruit and drinks. Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Zilverlinde Elisadonk in Roosendaal, part of the anthroposophical organisation Istia Holding B.V., was inspected on 9 July 2026. The unannounced follow-up investigation focused on a signal regarding a possible exceedance of the number of childcare places and the quality of pedagogical policy and accommodation. The location, housed in a temporary (emergency) school since December 2023, provides daycare for 7 children. The investigation showed that the number of childcare places is not exceeded. However, the pedagogical work plan was not up to date: it described an intended expansion to 15 places that had not yet been approved. Following a recovery offer, this was corrected on 6 August 2026. The accommodation meets all requirements. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises against enforcement.
