About this care
Kinderdagverblijf Miste is located at Brinkeweg 15 in Winterswijk-Miste. We are a small-scale daycare center with a maximum capacity of 16 children. Our motto is 'Every child is unique!' and therefore we give children the space to be themselves and the opportunity to develop in their own way. Because no child is the same, we are constantly looking for what each child needs. This enables us to connect with the individual needs of each child and their development.
Good contact with parents is our top priority. We therefore organize parent evenings and parents are always welcome for a child consultation. We regularly have contact with parents about their child's development and whether they feel comfortable.
Our staff have the appropriate MBO diploma in social pedagogical field and receive regular training. We work according to the guidelines of the Childcare CAO. Our childcare qualifies for childcare allowance.

Strengths

Summary
GGD Noord- en Oost-Gelderland conducted an unannounced follow-up investigation on 25 August 2025 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Juut & Co KDV Miste in Winterswijk. The investigation was prompted by violations identified during the previous inspection visit on 23 April 2025 in the domains of Safety and Health, and Accommodation. The municipality had made recovery agreements; this investigation assessed solely whether the requested recovery had been implemented. The conclusion is that the shortcomings have only been partially resolved. The sun protection has been addressed: a new, correctly positioned sunshade has been installed above the sandbox. The bouncer chair is also no longer in use as a sleeping place, and the organization has informed staff about safe sleeping practices. These violations have thus been resolved. However, the third violation—the missing wall mounting of the changing table—has not yet been addressed. A new, sturdier model is in place, but the furniture is still not secured to the wall, despite this being explicitly prescribed in the instruction. As a result, the location still does not comply with the mandatory safety and health policy. The GGD therefore advises the municipal council to enforce in accordance with the enforcement policy.
