About this care
Kinderdagverblijf Ikkedoen is a small-scale daycare located in the Stadshagen shopping centre in Zwolle. We provide care for up to 50 children in four horizontal daycare groups. Our starting point is that every child is unique: each child thinks, feels and acts in their own way. We cherish that authentic self and give each child the space to develop at their own pace.
Children find a homely atmosphere in which they feel safe and secure. We work with fixed pedagogical staff who know our families well; many parents see the same caregivers return with their second and third child. The horizontal groups create calm and clarity, ensuring every child receives the attention they deserve.
Our location is easily accessible from Stadshagen and surrounding areas. We are registered in the National Childcare Register under number 701640194, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance. Summary
KDV Ikkedoen is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Zwolle with 50 places. During the unannounced annual inspection on 22 July 2025, it was found that the childcare location meets statutory requirements in almost all areas. There was one shortcoming: the safety and health policy lacked descriptions of drowning risk (there is open water nearby) and the topic of transgressive behaviour. The GGD offered the location the opportunity to supplement this; the provider did so within a short time, after which the requirement was assessed as met. No violations remain outstanding.
