IKC Juliana

Welcome to De Juultjes, our daycare group within IKC Juliana at Wethouder Rebellaan 142 in Barneveld. As part of Stichting De Drieslag, we offer Christian childcare for children aged 0 to 4. The name 'De Juultjes' refers to our place within IKC Juliana, where childcare, education and after-school care are integrated. We work in two horizontal base groups: a baby group (0-2 years) and a toddler group (2-4 years), ensuring your child receives care and stimuli suited to their developmental stage. Our daycare is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00. A flexible half-hour from 07:00 is available by arrangement. The daycare is housed in the same bright, spacious building as the school. The architect used 'open and sheltered' as key words: lots of windows and light colours for an open atmosphere, and a house-shaped roof for security. Outside we have a large, green playground. We use the VVE programme Uk en Puk, where play is central. Puk the puppet is the children's playmate. We also use the KIJK! observation system to monitor your child's development together with you. Each child is assigned a mentor, a pedagogical staff member who serves as the point of contact for parents. At De Juultjes, we believe children should know they belong to Jesus. We tell them about God's love, pray together and celebrate Christian holidays. This Christian identity is woven into our daily interactions, songs and stories. We use Parro: an app for communication with parents. Through the app you receive messages about activities and important updates. You can also report your child sick via Parro.
