Het Kwartelnest

Welcome to daycare centre Het Kwartelnest, located in the heart of Zevenhuizen in the Swanla community centre at Burgemeester Klinkhamerweg 84b. Our daycare is part of gro-up childcare and offers a warm, homely environment for children aged 0 to 4. The community centre is centrally located, easily accessible by public transport, and has free parking right outside. We work with four vertical groups: the purple, blue, red and yellow Kwartels. Each group has children aged 0 to 4 years, allowing them to learn from each other. The purple and blue groups work together at the start and end of the day, as do the red and yellow groups. On Wednesdays three groups are open with the yellow and red groups combining. Each month we work with a theme. You will receive the activity programme in the Parent App before the start of each month. We read books, sing songs, do crafts and exercise in the gym. We also take part in special days such as Mud Day, Children's Book Week and the Toddler Four-Day Walk. Inside, you will immediately notice the spacious play hall with a reading tree, decorated according to the monthly theme. We also have a book house with an orderly collection of books. Outside there is a beautiful natural playground with a tipi tent, outdoor kitchen, sandbox with water element and a baby box for the youngest ones. Our care includes food and nappies. We serve fruit, healthy snacks, bread meals and drinks. Allergies and dietary requirements are accommodated in consultation with parents. Each child has their own sleeping area. Parents are closely involved through the gro-up parent portal and the Parent App, which you can use to deregister your child and request extra care. For extra care we try to place your child in their own group; if this is not possible we ask permission in advance. The location has an active parent committee that contributes to the quality of care. Our location is open from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. At least two staff members are always present when opening and closing. Spots are currently available. Would you like to experience the atmosphere?
