About this care
At HappyKids Kinderopvang, we offer a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 0 to 4 years at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) de LinQ in Nieuw-Vennep. Our small-scale daycare center is located at Kalsslagerring 13, next to primary school De LinQ. We are open 52 weeks per year, from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with the exception of national holidays.
We work with the 'Uk en Puk' programme, where learning through play is central. The themes connect with children's world of experience, with attention for four developmental areas: language development, social-emotional development, motor and sensory development, and early numeracy. There are two group rooms where babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together, and we make use of the school's play hall for sports, dance and games.
HappyKids places great value on information and communication with parents. We have a fully web-based parent portal and a convenient app where you can send messages, request extra childcare days, submit exchange requests and report absences. You will also find newsletters, a diary and photo album of your child here.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Kennemerland conducted an unannounced annual inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) HappyKids de LinQ in Nieuw-Vennep on 25 September 2025. The location provides care for 28 children aged 0-4 years in two core groups. All quality requirements examined were met, with the exception of 'acting in accordance with the safety and health policy': during the inspection, it was found that not all staff members followed the prescribed hand hygiene protocols (handwashing after nappy changing, use of water point at the changing table). The supervisor immediately issued a recovery offer. The provider responded with an amended protocol, team instruction, and a plan for monthly checks; the shortcoming is now considered resolved. Furthermore, the pedagogical climate, staffing levels, accommodation, parental involvement, and other safety matters were found to comply with legislation and regulations. There is sufficiently qualified staff present, an active parent committee, and clear policy documents shared on the website. The advice to the municipality is to take no enforcement measures, as the violation has been resolved.
