About this care
Welcome to PO 't Steijntje, our toddler care center located in the heart of Deil. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our location at Ringelesteinstraat 4 is GGD-certified and operates according to a fixed daily structure with themes that connect to toddlers' world of experience.
We work with the pre- and early school education (VVE) methodology, specially developed for children who can benefit from extra stimulation. Our pedagogical staff provide development-oriented activities with a focus on language development. Through play and interaction, we stimulate each child's curiosity.
A fixed daily rhythm with rest and regularity forms the basis for a familiar environment. We regularly take walks to the playground in the village, where children can explore and play outdoors. These excursions contribute to the social and motor development of the toddlers.

Summary
Fantaziehuis 't Steijntje PO in Deil is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for children aged 2-4 with 16 places. The inspection on 17 February 2025 shows that the childcare location now meets all statutory quality requirements following a recovery offer. The pedagogical staff consciously work according to the clear pedagogical policy and the reporting protocol for domestic violence. Parents are well informed via a parent portal and the website. There is not yet a parent committee, but parents are actively involved through newsletters and the parent app. The safety and health policy is now in order after recovery; the loose rubber tiles on the playground are now recorded as a risk with clear work agreements. No violations were found. The municipality is advised not to apply enforcement.
