Grosthuizer

Welcome to Grosthuizer, our daycare center in Avenhorn. Since May 1st 2025, we provide care for the youngest children in the familiar environment of the Grosthuizerschool. Our location at Grosthuizen 74 is open three days a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. With opening hours that are on average one hour shorter than other childcare locations, you benefit from lower costs without compromising on the quality of care your child deserves. Our staff are baby specialists, providing a lot of attention for young children. We work with themes and offer activities that match each child's age and development. This way, children learn and grow through play in a safe and cozy environment. Outside, children can play in the beautiful nature discovery garden. Grosthuizer offers childcare for children from 0 to 13 years and is located in the Grosthuizerschool, with which there is close cooperation. In this cozy school building, Grosthuizer has a family group where daycare and after-school care are often together, allowing children from the same family to have a lot of contact with each other. At Grosthuizer, the development of each child is central. Through play and discovery, your child gets the space to grow at their own pace. We emphasize independence and teach children to take responsibilities, while ensuring a familiar and pleasant atmosphere where they can be themselves.
