Summary

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) de Vuurvogel in Driebergen-Rijsenburg, part of Kinderopvang De Geheime Tuin B.V., was inspected on 22 January 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Utrecht region. The location provides care for a maximum of 21 children aged 0 to 4 years in two groups. The annual inspection revealed a largely positive picture: the pedagogical climate and staff and groups comply with legislation and regulations. A recovery offer was issued for the pedagogical policy, however, as concrete descriptions were missing for the continuous developmental line toward after-school care (BSO) and the settling-in process for a new core group. This constitutes recurrence: the same shortcoming was already identified in 2023. The operator revised the policy in February 2026, after which compliance was achieved. The pedagogical practice, staff qualifications, and coaching are well organized.
