GGD investigation on 3 November 2025 at daycare center De Spil (KION) in Nijmegen. The unannounced follow-up investigation focused on the pedagogical policy, as the registration investigation of 26 March 2025 revealed that the tasks and guidance of childcare staff-in-training (BBL and PMIO) were not described in concrete terms. The location was subsequently given a recovery offer with a period of eight weeks. The inspection now finds that the provider placed a complete and concrete policy text on the website within that period: BBL and PMIO employees always work together with a qualified colleague in the group and are guided according to a supervision plan. With this, the violation has been remedied. No new shortcomings were found. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement measures. The location offers 64 places, including subsidized early childhood education, and has been housed in a new building since February 2025, which is shared with a primary school.
