A warm and trusted place for your child. At Kinderdagverblijf Toermalijn, children from 6 weeks to 4 years old are warmly welcome to play, discover, learn and go on adventures. We offer childcare in two baby groups (0-2.5 years), a vertical group (0-4 years) and two toddler groups (2-4 years). In our homely baby groups, we create a calm environment with few stimuli, where babies can play, enjoy sensory experiences and cuddle. In the mixed and toddler groups, children get more challenge and we encourage communication with baby sign language. In the toddler groups, we work with the Early Childhood Education method, which helps with language development and social skills. Our childcare staff involve children in educational and playful activities, such as role play in the home corner or building in the construction corner. Mascot 'Snuf' experiences a lot here every day and helps the toddlers explore the world in a playful way. We also play outside every day and have a special baby garden for the littlest ones. We find it important that every child feels safe and secure, so that they can develop at their own pace. Healthy nutrition is a high priority for us, and we follow a responsible nutrition policy. At daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Toermalijn, we love cuddling, reading, singing, playing and being silly – and along the way, we learn a whole lot!
