KDV de Benjamin is located at Maxend 6 in the heart of Nistelrode and has been providing professional childcare for 64 children aged 0 to 4 years since 2005. Our daycare center is VVE-certified and operates with a horizontal group structure, where the youngest children (0-1 years) are cared for separately by specialized baby specialists. These staff members pay close attention to each baby's individual needs, ensuring every child receives the rest, attention, and care they deserve.
We believe children develop best when given space to discover things on their own. Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) de Benjamin in Nistelrode provides care for 64 children (0-4 years) in four core groups, including two groups with early education (voorschoolse educatie/VE). The annual Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection on 30 September 2025 concludes that the location meets most quality requirements. Strong points are the pedagogical climate, the deployment of an early education (VE) pedagogical policy officer, well-qualified staff and a development-oriented provision. Following a recovery offer, violations regarding the pedagogical policy (frameworks for staff deployment, supervision of work-based learning students) and the staff-to-child ratio for early education (VE) have been resolved. However, one violation remains: group 1/2 teachers from the primary school and supervisors of a garden group have not yet been included in the childcare persons register, despite being structurally present during childcare hours. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Bernheze to enforce.
