About this care
Welcome to KDV De Aanloop, our daycare centre in Valthermond. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 in a homely and safe environment. Our team consists of caring and experienced pedagogical staff who work closely with the teachers of primary school De Aanloop, ensuring a smooth transition from childcare to school.
Everything we do revolves around development through play. We offer VVE-Piramide activities that stimulate language development and prepare children for primary school in a playful way. Physical activity is central: children can romp both indoors and in our spacious adjoining garden. For the very youngest we have a separate bedroom and a private, securely enclosed outdoor play area.
Our opening hours are from 7.30 am to 6.15 pm; on request we can open from 7.00 am. We provide bottle feeding, healthy snacks and drinks. Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Aanloop in Valthermond provides care for a maximum of 16 children aged 0-4 years in one group, located within primary school De Aanloop. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 3 November 2025 shows that the location meets all statutory quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The pedagogical policy is up to date and is applied by staff members. Early childhood education is well organized with a minimum of 960 hours of provision over 1.5 years, use of the Uk en Puk method, and sufficient qualified personnel. The safety and health policy is complete, including a domestic violence reporting code and first aid (EHBO) qualifications. There is no parent committee due to the small scale, but parents are involved in other ways. No complaints have been reported. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
