GGD Twente conducted an unannounced incidental inspection on 28 May 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Bloeiwijs in Almelo. The location, part of organisation Humankind, provides daycare for up to 75 children (ages 0-4) in five core groups. The inspection assessed applications for changes regarding early education (voorschoolse educatie/VE), pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. All assessed areas meet the legal requirements. The location has a detailed pedagogical policy, a safety and health policy, and deploys a pedagogical policy officer for early education (VE).
