Welcome to KDV Baloe, located at Anna Blamanstraat 4 in Hoofddorp. We are a daycare center for children aged 0 to 4 years, offering a safe and nurturing environment where children can play, grow and discover. At Baloe, we operate six groups, distinguishing between babies, toddlers and preschoolers. This ensures a calm and structured setting tailored to your child’s developmental stage.
For our youngest children, we follow your baby’s individual rhythm. Your child receives the bottle, fruit snack or simply a cuddle exactly when needed. We coordinate this closely with you as a parent, so your child feels secure and at ease. For toddlers and preschoolers, we follow a consistent daily routine. The morning begins with shared fruit and reviewing the day’s schedule, so your child knows exactly what to expect.
We value movement and healthy nutrition. Every week, a youth sports specialist from SKH visits for a fun sports or movement lesson. These sessions are tailored to young children’s development and align with our vision of healthy childcare. Around lunchtime, we serve a warm meal, and at the end of the day, children enjoy a cracker. In between, there is plenty of time for play, both indoors and outdoors.

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Baloe in Hoofddorp, part of Stichting Kinderopvang Haarlemmermeer, was inspected unannounced on 21 July 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Kennemerland. The location provides care for 86 children aged 0 to 4 years in six groups. All assessed quality requirements are met, including pedagogical policy, staff qualifications, stability of care, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. The team is stable and good consideration is given to staff absences. The parent committee is satisfied. One point of attention remains temperature regulation: four toddler bedrooms are difficult to cool, which means children sometimes sleep in the group room. The license holder has taken additional measures such as screens, heat-reflective film, roller shutters, and mobile air conditioning units, and is in consultation with the landlord. In the inspection history, previous violations were identified (2024-2025), some of which were lifted through recovery offers. For this inspection: no enforcement action.
