About this care
Welcome to Alles Kids daycare, located at Mimosastraat 97 in the Oosterpark district of Groningen. We are part of Kids First Childcare and provide care for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our facility is housed in a former primary school and features a beautiful, spacious 1400 m² garden with trees, shrubs, grass, a playground and play equipment. Children play and explore here every day. In spring, we work together with the children on their own vegetable gardens.
We operate with vertical groups, closely mirroring a family setting. Our activities are themed according to the VE programme Piramide, which stimulates children's language and cognitive development while playfully preparing them for primary school. We offer age-appropriate activities such as crafts, music, circle games and nature exploration. Our pedagogical staff provide challenging toys and creative materials tailored to each child's developmental stage.
Alles Kids is a Binnenstebuiten location and part of Vensterwijk Oosterpark. We collaborate with local schools, WIJ Oosterparkwijk and other neighbourhood organisations. We also participate in a pilot programme for accessible childcare, allowing children to attend two days per week. Near our location is a park with a playground and a Cruyff Court.

- One pedagogical professional does not meet the mandatory language requirement IKK (level 3F); the Central Exam has been assessed as insufficient and there is no evidence of a resit or partial proficiency in listening
- Insufficient stability of care for children from 1 year old: more than three fixed staff members are assigned, this is a recurring problem (also identified in 2023, 2024, and March 2025)
Summary
The annual inspection of 12 May 2026 of daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Alles Kids in Groningen shows a mixed picture. The location meets the requirements regarding pedagogical climate, safety and health, parental rights, staff-to-child ratio, and coaching. However, two serious shortcomings have been identified: one staff member does not meet the mandatory language requirement IKK (level 3F), and there is insufficient stability in 'consistent faces' for children from 1 year old. The latter is a recurring problem since 2023. The indoor climate has since improved following earlier issues with CO2 and moisture. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises enforcement.
