Summary

KC De Burcht PSG in Ridderkerk, a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for children with care and/or support needs (ages 2.5–4), was subject to a follow-up investigation on 24 September 2025. This investigation followed an earlier inspection during which violations were identified regarding the duty to report, consult, and file charges, as well as the parent committee. The location, which has 13 childcare places, has resolved the violation regarding the parent committee: although no parent committee could be formed, the provider offers adequate alternative participation opportunities. However, the violation regarding the duty to report, consult, and file charges has been reidentified. Staff members continue to demonstrate insufficient awareness of their obligations regarding suspected abuse or mistreatment by colleagues or the provider itself.
