About this care
KC De Boerderie is a small-scale childcare center located at Fortuinstraat 1 in Woensdrecht. We provide professional after-school care in a homely and cozy atmosphere where children feel at home. Our childcare center is GGD-certified and annually inspected by the authorities.
We provide after-school care for up to 22 children, where we accommodate parents' wishes to the maximum extent possible. Flexible arrangements are available, even on an hourly basis. By creating an optimal environment, a relaxed atmosphere, and applying a well-thought-out care concept and policy plan, children learn to develop playfully from the very beginning. Our location has a fresh appearance and offers children plenty of space to grow, experience, and develop. We have a close-knit team of pedagogical staff who dedicate themselves daily to the well-being and development of your child. KC De Boerderie is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) located in a former farm in Woensdrecht, accommodating a maximum of 22 children aged 4–12 years in a single base group. The annual inspection visit on 29 September 2025 shows that the location meets legal requirements in all areas. There was one violation: the safety and health policy contained insufficient concrete description of risks related to inappropriate behaviour by students in training, interns, and volunteers. The holder received a recovery offer, made use of it, and submitted a revised policy by 31 October 2025 at the latest; the violation has thereby been closed. Furthermore, the pedagogical policy, staffing levels, parent information, and complaints procedure are in order. There is no parent committee, but parents are actively involved through parent meetings and individual contact. The municipality is advised not to enforce as the violation has been resolved.
