About this care
Welcome to Immanuel Childcare, part of De Groene Boomhut Best, located at Lumeystraat 1 in Best. We provide small-scale daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Since September 2022, we operate with a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together.
Our toddler group is active on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM. Here, toddlers aged 2 to 4 years are given the space to discover and grow at their own pace. We prepare them for primary school in a playful way, within a familiar and stimulating setting.
Additionally, we offer pre-school care on Mondays from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM. This is ideal for parents who start work early. Your child can calmly start the day and will be brought to school on time.
We believe personal attention and care for each child is very important. Our small-scale care ensures that your child quickly feels at home. We work with a dedicated team of involved pedagogical staff who know and understand your child.

Immanuel kinderopvang in Best, a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) with 26 places for children aged 0–4, was inspected by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost on 16 February 2026. The location forms a Christian Integral Child Centre together with Immanuël primary school and uses the Startblokken method. The annual investigation showed that the location meets all quality requirements of the Childcare Act after a recovery offer. One violation was identified regarding the calculation of the deployment of the pedagogical policy staff member, which was however resolved the same day by amending the employment contract. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Best not to take enforcement measures.
