IKC Startpunt

Welcome to IKC Startpunt, located at Vincent van Goghlaan 4 in Maassluis. We are a modern and spacious integrated children's center where children aged 4 to 12 can attend after-school care. In our multifunctional building you will find not only the after-school care, but also a gymnasium and the Center for Youth and Family, ensuring short lines of communication for care needs. Our after-school care accommodates up to 66 children and is part of Wijzer Kinderopvang. We work closely with the primary school in the same building, creating a seamless transition from school to childcare. Children can come directly to us after school for a varied program of activities. Sports and physical activity are central to our offerings. We utilize the indoor gymnasium where children can engage in sports and play. Additionally, we regularly organize excursions and nature activities. Our pedagogical staff guide children with their homework and provide support where needed. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 and work with mixed age groups. This stimulates social development and ensures that older children learn to interact with younger children and vice versa. Our location has its own outdoor playground where children can play to their heart's content. During holidays, we offer central vacation care with extra activities and outings. We provide healthy snacks and drinks during care hours. Our team of dedicated pedagogical staff is ready every day to provide children with a safe and stimulating environment where they can relax after a school day.
