About this care
Welcome to KDV IKC Platanenlaan, part of Basker childcare (formerly Zonnekinderen) and located at Platanenlaan 1-3 in the centre of Zevenaar. In our renewed, sustainable building we provide day-care for children aged 0-4 years, divided into two horizontal groups for children aged 2-4 years. Our experienced pedagogical staff follow and stimulate every child's development in a familiar, safe environment.
As an Integral Child Centre we work closely with primary schools De Lindenhage and Het Kofschip and with the after-school care located in the same building. This collaboration creates a seamless continuum from 0 to 13 years, letting children keep the same trusted surroundings and familiar faces. Our site is centrally located in the Lentemorgen II district, near the shopping centre and main roads, and offers generous opening hours from 07:00 to 18:30 that match parents' working times.
Outside, children enjoy a richly equipped playground with varied and safe play equipment, a sandpit and an adventurous garden. We love to go out to the nearby park or petting zoo, where children learn through play and expand their world. Indoors we have a well-equipped gymnasium and play corners that invite imagination and cooperation.
KDV IKC Platanenlaan uses early childhood education (VVE), so from an early age children work on language, numeracy and social skills through play. We offer a warm, homely atmosphere in which every child is seen and heard and can develop at his or her own pace.Read more

The holder acknowledges the error and states that this occurred due to unforeseen staff circumstances. The safety of the children would not have been compromised.
