About this care
Welcome to IKC Nova, located at Bertrand Russellplaats 7-9 in Rotterdam-Ommoord. We provide small-scale daycare (KDV) for children aged 2 to 4. In our toddler group, children have plenty of space to develop themselves through play, singing, storytelling and learning to share together. We work in a homely setting where every child feels safe and seen. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with great attention and care, allowing them to explore the world through play. Summary
The annual Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection on 10 February 2026 at IKC Nova in Rotterdam presents a predominantly positive picture. The toddler daycare for 16 children (ages 2-4) meets almost all quality requirements. The pedagogical practice is good: staff work sensitively and responsively, provide structure and stimulate children's development in all areas. The early childhood education through Uk & Puk is well organized, with sufficient hours, qualified staff and appropriate spaces.
