About this care
2Bijen is our new after-school care facility in the Vruchtenbuurt district of The Hague. Located at Pomonaplein 71, we provide care for up to 33 children aged 4 to 13 years. Here, children can safely relax, play, discover and learn new things after school.
Our location is fully equipped with a dedicated art studio where children can be creative, a large kitchen where we cook and bake together, and a chill-out space to unwind. The beautiful outdoor area invites children to play and move around in the fresh air.
We operate under Stichting Kinderopvang 2Samen and have been registered in the National Childcare Register since July 18, 2024, under number 133536683. We comply with all statutory quality requirements and are supervised by the GGD Haaglanden. For parents, this means that childcare allowance is available from our registration date.
At 2Bijen, the child is always at the center. We provide a warm and safe environment where children can develop at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with attention and care, giving parents peace of mind while they work or study.Read more

BSO 2Bijen aan het Pom onaplein in Den Haag provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 33 children aged 4-12. The location was inspected for the first time on 26 August 2025. The report concludes that all statutory quality requirements have been met: no violations were identified and no areas for improvement were indicated. The pedagogical practice appears warm and safe; staff respond sensitively, set clear boundaries, and involve children in agreements. All staff members are qualified, registered in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang/PRK), and hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The spaces meet size and safety requirements; outdoor play takes place on adjacent sports fields. Parents are well informed via a digital portal and website. A parent committee has not yet been formed, but the provider demonstrates active efforts to involve parents. No recovery action was required. The municipality was advised not to take enforcement action.
