About this care
BSO Villa Lila is an after-school care facility operated by Humankind, located in the CC de Schakel building at Kerkstraat 104 in Gilze. We provide care for up to 21 children aged 4 to 12. Our location is open Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. During school weeks we offer both before-school care (07:30-08:35) and after-school care. During holidays children are welcome from 07:30 to 18:30 and we create a holiday programme. Registration is handled by Humankind's Placement & Planning department.Read more

GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 9 June 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Villa Lila in Gilze, part of Stichting Humankind. The after-school care accommodates a maximum of 21 children aged 4 to 13 years in one base group, housed in Cultureel Centrum de Schakel. All assessed quality requirements have been met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and parental rights. No areas for improvement or violations were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Gilze en Rijen not to apply enforcement measures.
