Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Het Station in Ottersum, part of Spring Kinderopvang, was inspected by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Limburg-Noord on 5 November 2025. The location provides daycare for 57 children across four groups, including a baby group, two toddler groups (one with subsidised preschool education), and a vertical group. The annual inspection revealed a predominantly positive picture: the pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health all met statutory requirements. The pedagogical practice was characterised by purposeful work, stimulation of personal and social competence, and a positive group atmosphere. One violation was identified in the area of safety: the outdoor play area was unsafe due to protruding pipes and litter. Following a recovery offer, this shortcoming was remedied on 18 December 2025. The GGD advises the municipality of Gennep not to take enforcement measures.
