About this care
NSO Het Schuitengat is a small-scale after-school care facility located at Wassenaarsestraat 86 in Scheveningen. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 years in a homely and familiar environment. As an independent sole proprietorship, we stand for personal attention and small-scale care. With a maximum capacity of 19 children, we can give each child the care and attention they deserve.
Our location is situated in the heart of Scheveningen, which gives us the opportunity to make use of the many possibilities that the environment offers. The proximity to the sea and dunes makes our location particularly suitable for exploration trips and outdoor activities.
We are there for your children on the days you need us. Our after-school care provides peace and structure after a busy school day. Children can play, relax and learn new things in a safe environment. We work with a permanent team of involved pedagogical staff who know and understand your child well.

Summary
BSO Het Schuitengat on Wassenaarsestraat in Den Haag (Scheveningen) provides small-scale after-school care (BSO) for up to 19 children aged 4–12. The inspection of 12 August 2025 found that the location meets all statutory quality requirements: the pedagogical policy plan is current and complete, staff are qualified and registered in the Childcare Personnel Register, and paediatric first aid certificates are available at all times. During observation, a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere prevailed; children felt emotionally secure, participated in practical tasks and received positive affirmation. No violations were found and no improvement points were agreed. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
