About this care
Het Randstadje West is our daycare center located at Bellevoysstraat 28 in the heart of Rotterdam. At this location, we provide care for up to 38 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare center has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since June 14, 2012, under number 129890224.

Our location in West Rotterdam is easily accessible for parents in the area. We believe it's important that childcare is close to home, making drop-off and pick-up as smooth as possible. At our daycare, we work with early childhood education (VE), through which we stimulate your child's development from an early age.

Strengths
- Pedagogical practice is sensitive, responsive, and provides sufficient challenge for children
- Early childhood education is delivered using the Uk & Puk method, with recognizable play corners and theme-based room arrangement
- Parents are actively involved in early childhood education through discussions, activities, and newsletters
- Sufficient qualified staff with appropriate certificates and language proficiency
- Group rooms are suitably furnished and provide adequate play space
- Complaints procedure and parent committee are well organized

- Previous violation of health and safety policy (October 2025): not all agreements were being upheld, specifically regarding temperature, bedroom ventilation, and food storage
- Previous violation of health and safety policy (April 2026): risk assessment contained insufficient measures against fall incidents from bed or playpen
Summary
The annual inspection on 30 July 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Het Randstadje in Rotterdam shows that the location now meets all inspected quality requirements.
