About this care
Welcome to Het Hazendonkje in Molenaarsgraaf, a true farm-based daycare centre in the heart of the Alblasserwaard polder. We provide care for up to 46 children aged 0 to 4 at our premises on Kweldamweg 3b. The centre is part of Het Hazendonkje B.V. and is located on a working farm with cows, calves and extensive outdoor space. Children grow up surrounded by corn and grass fields and experience the daily rhythm of farm life. The natural environment is the foundation of our care: outdoor play, caring for animals and discovering how food grows. We have a large garden with play equipment and plenty of room to run, cycle and play safely. Our qualified staff guide children in small groups and support their development through play, stories, singing and crafts. The farm is open from 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. and offers flexible childcare options. Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Het Hazendonkje in Molenaarsgraaf, an agricultural childcare location with 46 places for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, was inspected on 8 December 2025. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) concludes that the location meets all assessed conditions. The pedagogical quality is good: there is a relaxed atmosphere, staff are sensitive and responsive, and work according to policy. The safety and health policy is current and correctly applied. Parental rights are also well arranged. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The previous inspection in August 2024 showed two violations that were resolved through a recovery offer (herstelaanbod). The municipality is advised not to take enforcement measures.
