Het Blokje is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) in Zwartemeer for a maximum of 20 children aged 4-12, located in the same building as the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV). GGD Drenthe conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 14 January 2026. All assessed domains meet the legal requirements: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The pedagogical staff know the policy and work in accordance with it. All staff hold valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) documents and appropriate diplomas. The safety and health policy is complete and up to date, with sufficient first-aid-qualified staff. The domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol meets the requirements. Parents are well informed through intake interviews, newsletters, and documents in the hallway. There is an active parent committee of 3 members. The complaints procedure is in order and no complaints have been received. This is a positive report with no remarks, following previous improvement trajectories in 2023 and 2025.
