Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) Happy Kids provides professional childminder (gastouder) care for children aged 0 to 13 in Kampen and the surrounding area. As an agency, we exclusively work with highly educated childminders who have at least a level 3 MBO child-focused qualification and experience in childcare. We provide intensive guidance to our childminders and ensure a good match between parent and childminder. Our service area covers a radius of approximately 50 kilometres around Kampen, with childminders in Kampen, Zwolle, Hattem, Genemuiden, Biddinghuizen and IJsselmuiden. All care locations are inspected by the GGD (Municipal Health Service) and comply with legal requirements for safety and hygiene. As a parent, you are looking for the best care for your little one. Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) Happy Kids does everything possible to make that happen with professional, loving care. Our childminders (gastouders) are more highly qualified than the government requires and hold first aid certificates and Certificates of Good Conduct. We offer small-scale care in a family setting where a maximum of six children are cared for, ensuring personal attention and a homely atmosphere.
Subsidy & costs
Parents can receive childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) via the Tax and Customs Administration. The amount of the benefit depends on the (joint) assessment income and the number of children attending care. There is a maximum of 230 hours per month per child. The hourly rate for which benefit can be received is €8.49 for 2026. Changes must be reported in time via Mijn Toeslagen. The benefit is paid in advance, around the 20th of the month for the following month.
The costs for care vary per childminder (gastouder), whereby the childminder (gastouder) determines her own rate within the agency's guidelines. The childminder agency (gastouderbureau) does not charge any additional costs such as administration, mediation or intake fees. The agreed hourly rate with the childminder (gastouder) is all you pay. Payments are collected via automatic direct debit by the childminder agency (gastouderbureau) and paid out to the childminder (gastouder). Despite the high requirements for childminders (gastouders), the rates are low.
Trust & screening
Our childminders (gastouders) have at least a child-focused vocational education (MBO) at level 3 and experience in childcare. They hold a first aid certificate from the Red Cross (Oranje Kruis) and a Certificate of Good Conduct for themselves and adult household members. The care locations are inspected by the municipal health service (GGD) and must meet the requirements of the Childcare Act. Childminders (gastouders) work as franchisees and are intensively guided by the agency.
All childminders (gastouders) and our childminder agency (gastouderbureau) are registered in the National Childcare and Preschool Register (LRKP 150476504). Care locations have been inspected by the municipal health service (GGD) and are inspected annually for safety and hygiene. Childminders (gastouders) hold first aid certificates from the Red Cross (Oranje Kruis) and Certificates of Good Conduct for themselves and adult household members. We work in accordance with the Childcare Act and have a reporting code for child abuse and domestic violence.
