Summary

The annual inspection of 19 August 2026 of after-school care (BSO) Happy Kids Almere shows that the location meets all assessed quality requirements following a recovery offer. The after-school care accommodates 126 children (ages 4-8) divided across 6 base groups on Zonnebloemweg. The staff work according to the pedagogical policy plan and the atmosphere is positive. One violation was identified: the holder could not sufficiently demonstrate that the staff-child ratio was correct due to missing arrival and departure times on attendance lists, also during school holidays. Following a one-week recovery offer, revised attendance lists have been introduced with working hours and instructions for staff. The shortcoming has been resolved. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
