The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) of Ms Veldkamp at Houtsnijdershorst 501 in Apeldoorn on 14 July 2025. The care takes place at the requesting parent's address via childminder agency Roodkapje. During the annual inspection, the pedagogical climate, requirements for the childminder, accommodation and furnishings, and safety and health were assessed. The childminder provides flexible care for one child aged 7 years on approximately three days per week. Several notable points were identified: an old consent form stating that the child was allowed to play outside under the supervision of a minor sibling, which is not permitted. The childminder corrected this that same evening with a new form. It also emerged that a paddling pool in the garden was not included in the risk assessment, which stated that no open water was present. The childminder indicated that the child only enters the paddling pool under supervision. Nevertheless, all assessed requirements are met.
