We check whether the childcare meets the requirements of the Childcare Act (Wet Kinderopvang) and take care of the complete hours administration for the childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). With more than 130 childminders in four provinces, we often have a suitable match in your region. You can also register with us together with an existing childminder (such as a grandparent, friend or neighbour).

Gastouderbureau Kidko operates in four provinces: Zuid-Holland, Utrecht, Noord-Brabant and West-Gelderland. The bureau was started more than 14 years ago in Alblasserdam and has grown to become the largest childminder bureau in the Drechtsteden region. With more than 130 childminders spread across these regions, we can provide parents in a large area with suitable childcare. Kidko meets all legal requirements of the Childcare Act (Wet Kinderopvang) and is registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang) under number 181692363. The bureau has a current GGD inspection report (2025) and holds a complaint-free certificate (2024). All childminders must hold at least a diploma MBO-2 Helpende Zorg en Welzijn and are regularly screened. Kidko carries out annual risk assessments at childminders and provides access to an external complaints committee.

Gastouderbureau NL offers parents in Dordrecht and surrounding areas professional mediation to small-scale childminder care (gastouderopvang) in a homely environment. You can choose care at the childminder's (gastouder) home (maximum 6 children, of which 2 babies) or nanny care at your own home. All childminders (gastouders) are LRK-registered and meet statutory quality requirements for safety, pedagogy and hygiene.

The bureau supports you in finding a suitable childminder (gastouder) via Gastouder Nederland, where you can view profiles and directly request a no-obligation introductory meeting. You receive personal guidance from a dedicated consultant who also helps with questions about childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag), pedagogical support and arranging replacement care.

Gastouderbureau NL Dordrecht serves the Dordrecht region and surrounding areas. Consultant Emmie Broeders is the dedicated point of contact for parents and childminders (gastouders) in this working area. Besides the core city of Dordrecht, the service area also includes the surrounding municipalities in the Drechtsteden region.

For specific requests outside the mentioned area, contact can be made to explore possibilities. The bureau also has branches in other regions of the Netherlands for parents living outside this working area.

Gastouderbureau NL meets all statutory requirements and is registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK number 257662601). All affiliated childminders (gastouders) are LRK-registered and meet quality requirements for safety, pedagogy and hygiene. The bureau conducts annual risk assessments at care locations and works with an up-to-date safety and health policy.

The bureau is affiliated with the Childcare Disputes Committee (Geschillencommissie Kinderopvang) and has an internal complaints procedure. Parents have access to a parent committee and can submit complaints according to a transparent procedure that is completed within 6 weeks. Gastouderbureau NL works in accordance with the Reporting Code on Domestic Violence and Child Abuse (Meldcode huiselijk geweld en kindermishandeling).
